Refund & Return Policy
At Flyplayers, we specialize in pre-owned, vintage, and second-life football boots and apparel. We believe that legendary boots deserve a second chance, and we are committed to providing the most accurate and transparent description of every item's condition. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Nature of Our Products
All items sold by Flyplayers are pre-owned, used, or vintage unless explicitly stated otherwise.
We are not the manufacturer of the footwear or apparel sold on our website. Therefore:
- We do not provide a manufacturer's warranty on any item.
- We are not responsible for how the footwear performs during use.
- The buyer acknowledges that pre-owned boots may have a reduced remaining lifespan.
Our commitment is to present the condition of the item honestly, thoroughly, and in full detail before it leaves our warehouse.
2. Item Condition Disclosure
We take condition disclosure extremely seriously. Every single pair is handled individually:
Detailed written description: We describe every visible flaw and sign of wear in writing. Nothing is hidden or glossed over.
High-resolution photography: Every listing includes multiple high-quality photos of the actual item, including close-ups of any noticeable wear: soleplate scratches, stud wear, upper creasing, scuffs, paint chips, loose stitching, or minor sole separation (if present).
What you see is what you get: We do not use stock photos. The item you see in the listing photos is the exact item you will receive.
Packing video recording: Every package is video-recorded during the entire packing process, showing the exact item, size, and condition at the moment of dispatch.
We strongly encourage you to review all photos and read the full condition description carefully before purchasing.
3. A Note on Scent
As our items are pre-owned, some natural signs of prior use — including scents consistent with previous wear or long-term storage — may be present.
We do our best to clean, air out, and refresh all footwear before listing and shipping. However, we cannot guarantee a factory-fresh scent, and returns based solely on the smell of a pre-owned item will not be accepted.
4. Right of Withdrawal & Return Conditions
You have the right to return your order within 14 calendar days after receiving the package.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- In the exact same condition as it was shipped (unworn, unwashed, not additionally used or damaged by the buyer).
- In its original packaging (if applicable) and with all tags or accessories that were included.
- Returned with the original box or packaging intact, not used as the external shipping box itself.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Buyer's responsibility: If you are returning the item due to a change of mind, wrong size ordered, or simply not liking the product, all return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Our responsibility: If the return is due to our error (e.g., we sent the wrong item, wrong size, or an item that significantly does not match our description or photos), we will take full responsibility and cover all return shipping costs.
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges whenever possible, subject to availability. If you need a different size or a different model, contact us within the 14-day return window.
The buyer is responsible for the return shipping of the original item and the shipping cost of the replacement item, unless the exchange is due to an error on our side.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Items that show additional wear or damage that was not present at the time of shipment.
- Items returned without prior communication and a return authorization.
- Clearance or "final sale" items (clearly marked on the product page).
8. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Contact us within 14 calendar days of receiving your order at support@flyplayers.com with your order number and the reason for return or exchange.
- Wait for our return authorization and the return shipping address.
- Ship the item back using a traceable shipping service.
Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
9. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days to your original method of payment.
- Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return was due to our error.
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional days for the refund to appear in your account.
10. Additional Advice for Buying Pre-Owned Football Boots
Sizing variations: Different boot models and generations fit differently. A pre-owned boot may have already molded to the previous owner's foot shape. Please check sizing advice for each specific model or ask us for insole measurements before ordering.
Sole separation on vintage models: On older models with glued outsoles, sole separation can occur over time due to natural material aging. This is a known characteristic of collecting and using vintage football boots and is not covered by our return policy after use.
Leather care: We strongly recommend conditioning leather boots before heavy use, especially if they have been in storage for a long time.
